Ce film raconte notre aventure de quatre jours et trois nuits dans ces magnifiques îles situées en face de Havre St-Pierre dans la région de la Côte-Nord (Duplessis). Une eau claire, des monolithes magnifiques, une faune et une flore paradisiaques, sans oublier la tranquilité des lieux. En effet, comme nous étions à la mi-septembre, nous n’avions pas rencontré grand monde. Un paramètre non négligeable lorsqu’on est en vacances. Par contre, le premier matin sur l’île du Havre, j’ai dû casser la glace sur mon kayak. Pas chaud ! Malheureusement nous ne l’avons pas en images. Encodé en MPEG-2 à 5000 kb/s avec Nero 7. La Bande-annonce quant à elle, a été montée en octobre 2008 après notre voyage en Afrique. C’est pour cette raison que j’ai pu y insérer une séquence des plaines du Serengeti. Comme je me souvenais d’avoir fait une blague avec le « Cette semaine à Découverte » aux îles de Mingan en 2006, je me suis permis le même humour. Pas de doute, ça contraste !</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Pour ce qui est du film, et oui j’ai mis deux ans et demi avant de le faire. J’étais probablement absorbé par mes autres montages de nos randonnées en montagne. Bref, ça vallait la peine d’attendre parce que j’ai non seulement appris sur le plan technique au niveau du montage, mais j’en ai également profité pour utiliser ma propre musique pour la totalité du film. Par contre, comme ce film a été tourné en 2006, on remarque encore une fois, un manque de rigueur dans mes talents de cameraman.
